Is there anyone who could point me into a direction for a program that can allow me to make songs which real instruments, a la Piano/ Guitar etc, I cant really play any instruments decent enough myself, and want to create some background songs for some projects of mine, Most of the songs I see made with Fruity loops etc are all techno based?

i find it strange that you haven’t mentioned Reaper Recording??? ive made 2 full albums with it and i dont have anything but a computer and a guitar… with some help from a drum machine of course. it has every function you noted
