I have been brain storming since i seen and heard though i dont have it yet. But im proud that you guys did it!!! very very proud!!! Here s an idea i wanted to throw at you all concerning the color pink red green yellow orange ect if the user can change the lights colors it will help in musical creation becase music is shades of dramatic colors . tell me if i did good CAUSE IM ALREADY GOING TO SELL IT FOR YOU GUYS GREAT JOB!!! i asked them the same question, but they working on it, it’s gonna come with the upgrade allong with the vsti version, in the next couple of weeks. I think they gotta generate some sales, to invest in this extra software.

Yo BeatKangs, I was wondering if there was a piano roll like you get in Logic so that I can edit each individual note. I’m not that great at playing stuff in so I usually get a lot of notes out of time.

it can sample as long as you like. It depends on how big of a hard drive you have. It can chop but auto chop is comming soon. Free upgrades

can the real beat thang sample ??? if so how long can u sample for and does it have a chop shop ???

It has 16 Tracks Total. Currently you Have 8 traxx for internal use.. ie any stock sounds and any of your samples are accessed by traxx 1-8.
Then you have 8 traxx (9-16) to trigger external gear…. for now. The Beat Thangz are Open platforms, that will be upgraded for FREE; the option to have 16 traxx for either internal or external will be in an upgrade!!!

A question about the Beat Thang hardware unit.
What do you mean by “8 tracks internal adn 8 tracks external”?
The hardware unit only has 8 midi tracks to record on?

yes… and you will very soon be able to integrate all the control surfaces of your controller with it. i can’t wait to get just the software… my mpc will be gone in due time to help pay for preorder on the hardware
